Donetsk, Sep 4 — DAN. Russia is ready to discuss issues related to the grain deal, President Vladimir Putin said at the talks with his Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi.
“I know that you plan to raise the issue of the grain deal,” Putin said. “We are open to negotiations on this question.”
In July, Russia withdrew from the grain deal which provided safe passage for Ukrainian vessels through humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea. Russia made this move due to the failure on the part of the UN, Turkey and Ukraine to honor their commitments.*jk
