Donetsk, Oct 13 — DAN. Russia has information that Ukraine is selling weapons on the black market, President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference on Friday following a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council in a restricted format.
“I doubt that Ukraine shipped weapons (to HAMAS- eds Donetsk News Agency), but I have no doubt of a weapon leak from Ukraine, ” Putin said. “The corruption level is known; it’s very high, and the black market develops in such a manner that there are many buyers while in Ukraine, many want to sell.”
In Ukraine, they are selling everything that can be sold, he added.
“We have information on weapon sales, including to the Middle East. I am not sympathetic to Ukraine’s incumbent leadership: of course, I doubt that this is happening at the level of Ukrainian leadership, yet the flow (of weapons) continues, ” Putin said.*jk
