Donetsk, Oct 5 — DAN. The regional Olympic committees of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions have been included in the Russian Olympic Committee, head of the organization Stanislav Pozdnyakov said on Thursday.
“We’ve admitted new members, the regional Olympic councils of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson region, ” RIA Novosti quoted Pozdnyakov as saying.
The executive office of the Russian Olympic Committee met in Moscow earlier in the day.*jk
