Donetsk, Dec 23 - DAN. A Russian humanitarian aid convoy has delivered to the Donetsk People’s Republic 272,350 doses of a vaccine against the coronavirus infection, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.

“The relief supplies delivered by the Russian convoy include a new batch of the Sputnik Light vaccine containing 272,350 doses,” the report said. “Sputnik Light will be used for vaccination and revaccination. It is available at local vaccination centres without preliminary registration on the Healthcare Ministry website.”

The 105th Russian humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry arrived in the Republic earlier in the day. The DPR launched vaccination with Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine on February 1. Sputnik Light has been available to DPR residents since July 30.*jk
