Donetsk, Jul 7 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired some 140 projectiles and mortar rounds at the Donetsk People’s Republic on Thursday causing civilian casualties.

Military situation

The enemy resumed strikes at DPR areas at around 6:00 targeting several districts of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and their suburbs.  Ukrainian forces used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery and mortars expending some 140 rounds of ammunition.

Two people were killed and another five were wounded in the strikes at Donetsk’s Petrovsky district, Mineralnoye and Yasinovataya. Damage was caused to houses, a kindergarten and a primary care health center.

Ukrainian army’s 24th Mechanized Brigade’s gross manpower losses in Russian high precision weapon attacks at Brigade positions on the Soledar axis amount to 2,500 or 60 percent of its strength.  Ukraine’s 79th Airborne Assault Brigade is almost completely destroyed as it lost more than 80 of its personnel.

Humanitarian situation

A new Russian humanitarian aid convoy has delivered more than 73 tons of relief supplies to the DPR Healthcare Ministry; the cargo was unloaded at the M3 Special Medical Supplies Facility warehouse.

 Russia’s Arkhangelsk region is delivering a large batch of construction materials to the DPR. It will hand over to the Republic 19 rail cars and more than 700 tons of cargo as humanitarian aid.

Specialists from Russia’s Vladimir region will begin to rebuild Dokuachayevsk’s war-ravaged infrastructure in the near future.

The Mariupol-Berdyansk trunk gas pipeline has resumed operation after repairs.

Central Mariupol social infrastructure facilities and enterprises have been connected to the power grid.  Power supply is restored to priority facilities in the first place such as hospitals, pumping stations, administrations and industrial companies.

Other news

DPR Head Denis Pushilin ordered to include another two settlements, liberated from Ukrainian invaders, in the zone of responsibility of DPR authorities. These are the Lomakino settlement and the Sidorovo village.

A new petrol station was opened in the village of Mirnoye, Telmanovo district. It sells all kinds of fuel. Is the 20th petrol station launched in DPR liberated areas.
