Donetsk, Dec 29 — DAN. Ukrainian forces have lost more than 4,600 gunmen on all axes in the attempts to attack Russian soldiers over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday.

From December 23 to December 29, Russia delivered 50 group strikes and one massive strike with precision weapons and aircraft at Ukraine’s military industrial facilities, infrastructure, arsenals, and ammunition and hardware storage sites, the report said. Strikes were also delivered at Ukrainian army units and groups of nationalists and foreign mercenaries. All the targets were hit.

In the designated period, Russian forces repelled 27 attacks on the Kupyansk axis, 13 on the Krasny Liman axis, 34 on the Donetsk axis and two on the Zaporozhye axis, and prevented saboteurs from landing on the Dnepr islets and Left Bank.

Enemy losses amounted to 16 tanks, 116 field artillery pieces, 36 armored vehicles including a Czech-made RM70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher and 17 boats. Over the past week, 43 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered including 22 on the Kupyansk axis.

 Ukraine suffered the largest manpower losses on the Donetsk axis, which topped 1,675 servicemen.

Air defense downed ten enemy aircraft and two helicopters, intercepted 33 high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) and “Uragan” multiple rocket launcher projectiles, four anti-radiation HARM missiles, one guided JDAM bomb, one Neptun anti-ship missile and 251 drones.
