Donetsk, Sep 19 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic will decrease the electricity tariff change level from 150 KWh to 70 KWh starting next month, DPR first deputy government chairman Andrey Chertkov said during a direct line session on Telegram on Tuesday.
Chertkov presented a new tariff system with electricity prices at 1.1 rubles per KWh if monthly consumption does not exceed 70 KWh. The current electricity prices are 1.87 rubles with consumption up to 150 KWh and 2.54 rubles with consumption between 150 and 800 KWh. Tariffs will remain at 3.85 rubles per KWh with consumption over 800 KWh per month.
Earlier reports said that proposals had been brought forward to raise DPR utility companies' rates by almost 2.6 times in the next five years.*jk
