Donetsk, Dec 15 — DAN. The Russian government has decided to allocate some two billion rubles worth of financial assistance to companies in the regions that border on the frontline, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Friday.

They are the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, the Republic of Crimea and Stavropol where the average emergency response level is operating, Mishustin said. The money will enable the regional industry development funds to extend grants for rebuilding, relocating or protecting production assets.

“It will help develop domestic businesses including in contiguous sectors, ” he added.

The issue of assistance to companies located in immediate proximity to the fighting zone was promptly resolved after the president’s Direct Line question and answer session on Thursday, the premier said.*jk
