Donetsk, Dec 25 — DAN. Three hundred kilometers of roads that link the Donetsk People’s Republic with neighboring regions have been repaired this year, the Avtodor state-owned company press service reported on Monday.
“Road construction workers have laid more than one million tons of asphalt concrete on DPR regional and federal roads meeting the connectivity targets for 2023, ” the report said.
Avtodor installed about 7,000 road signs, cleaned reserve areas and applied road markings. Fifty-five kilometers of crash barriers, 132 bus top pavilions and 116 kilometers of curb stone have been installed. Repairs have been carried out on the Kremnyovka-Yata and Amvrosiyevka-Mariupol roads and the road that links the DPR with the Lugansk People’s Republic.
Earlier reports said that some 1,200 kilometers of roads were repaired in the Donetsk People’s Republic in 2023.*jk
