Donetsk, Dec 20 — DAN. Repairs have been carried out on some 1,200 kilometers of roads in the Donetsk People’s Republic in 2023, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Wednesday.

These targets were achieved by pooling the efforts of the Avtodor state-owned road construction company, sponsor regions and local workers who focused on the locations with major road surface problems, Pushilin wrote on Telegram.

The DPR leader published his post after talking to DPR Transport Minister Vladimir Tuzhilin on a street in Makeyevka  where road maintenance works run round-the-clock. According to the minister, asphalt paving is possible even with ambient temperatures of up to minus 10 degrees Celsius.

Earlier reports said that road repairs would be completed in ten Makeyevka streets by yearend.*jk
