Donetsk, Nov 10 — DAN. More than 75 percent of Russians polled by the VCIOM public opinion research center approve of President Vladimir Putin’s work, the polling institutions said on its official website on Friday.

“The president’s work approval indicator  made up 75.6 percent (+1.0 percentage points over week) in the period from October 30 to November 5, 2023, ” it said. Positive assessment of the prime minister’s and the Cabinet’s work over the past week rated at 53.2 percent (+0.9 p.p. over week) and 50.4 percent (+1.6 p.p. over week), respectively.

Trust indicator was at 79.2 percent (+1.5 p.p. over week) for Putin, 62.5 percent (+2 p.p. over  week) for Mikhail Mishustin, 33.9 percent (+1.7 p.p. over week) for Gennady Zyuganov, 30.1 percent (+0.2 p.p. over week) for Sergei Mironov, 19.2 percent (+1.0 p.p. over week) for Leonid Slutsky and 8.4 percent (+1.0 p.p over week) for Alexey Nechayev.

 Support for the United Russia party was rated at 39.4 percent. It is followed by the Communist party (9.6 percent), the Liberal Democratic Party (9.5 percent), A Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth (4.5 percent) and New People (4.8 percent).*jk
