Donetsk, Aug 16 — DAN. Repair teams have restored electricity supply to 91 settlements in liberated areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the DPR Coal and Energy Ministry press service said on Tuesday.
“As of Monday evening, employees of DPR energy companies and contractor organizations under the Interdepartmental Operations Headquarters had restored more than 617 kilometers of power distribution lines of various voltage levels in the liberated territory, ” the report said.
Fifty-seven electrical substations have been repaired to restore electricity supply to 91 settlements, the Ministry added.
The villages of Sopino and Pionerskoye outside Mariupol were among the last to be reconnected to the power grid.*jk
