Donetsk, Dec 7 — DAN. Russia’s Gross Domestic Product has grown by 3.2 percent over a year, President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary session of the Russia Calling! forum on Thursday.
“Over ten months of this year, Russia’s GDP grew by 3.2 percent, ” Putin said. “Today, it is higher than it was before the sanction attack by the West.”
“The GDP is expected to grow to at least 3.5 percent by the results of the year, in any case, we hope so. It’s a good indicator for the Russian economy, ” he said.
He added that the Russian economy, in terms of growth rates, was pacing ahead of all leading European Union countries.
