Western countries have turned Ukraine into a colony pumping out its resources and encouraging genocide and terror against Donbass, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a video address to participants of the meeting between the defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Commonwealth of Independent States on Friday.
“For a number of years, the West unashamedly pumped out and exploited its (Ukraine’s) resources, encouraged genocide and terror against Donbass, and actually turned this country into a colony; and now cynically uses the Ukrainian people as cannon fodder, as a battering-ram against Russia, maintaining supplies of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, sending mercenaries and pushing it to the suicidal path, ” Putin said.*jk
