Donetsk, Aug 17 — DAN. Employment history of public officers in the new Russian regions will include the length of time worked in the independent Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics as well as in Ukraine.
Decree No 611 published on the official website of the Russian president on Thursday applies to members of parliament, diplomats, judges, prosecutors, local government bodies personnel etc.
However, employment history will not include the work time in military or other formations recognized by Russia as terrorist which participated in illegal actions against the Donbass Republics or in hostilities against Russia.
Incumbent civil servants’ previous work records will be used in calculating the length of annual additional leave and the sum of remuneration for impeccable and effective performance.
The decree signed by President Vladimir Putin on August 16 is retroactive to September 30, 2022.*jk
