“A year ago, Russia announced the recognition of the Donetsk People’s Republic, ” Pushilin wrote on Telegram.”It is the turning point in Donbass history which considerably accelerated our coming back home. I remember that happy day and will never forget it as will not millions of my fellow countrymen.”
On February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decrees on the recognition of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. Friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance treaties were signed with each Donbass Republic.*jk
