Donetsk, Nov 17 — DAN. The policy of “cancelling Russia” pursued by the West is racist and anti-cultural, President Vladimir Putin said at the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum — Forum of United Cultures on Friday.
“They’ve been recently trying to cancel our culture in general. I said ‘trying’ because this is impossible by definition: the basis of Russian culture is genuine freedom, mercy, humanism and spirituality, ” Putin said.
“The policy of 'canceling Russia' is basically anti-cultural, neocolonial and racist,” he said adding that this policy and the so-called anti-Russian sanctions were “a failure from the very beginning.” *jk
