Donetsk, Jul 27 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Chertkov has announced the beginning of works to build a trunk gas pipeline from Taganrog to Melitopol.
“It will help increase gas supply to the Republic, ” Chertkov told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
The DPR is launching a social program to build gas supply networks, he added.
In late June, the Republic’s Prime Minister Yevgeny Solntsev said that the authorities were ready to start a three-year gas infrastructure development program for single-family neighborhoods. At present, the project operator company is being established.
Chertkov earlier told DAN that more than 39 billion rubles would be allocated for building gas supply networks under the DPR socio-economic development program for 2023-2025.*jk
