Donetsk, Nov 3 — DAN. Projected growth of Russia’s GDP might reach 3 percent despite western sanctions and the attempt to restrict Russia’s participation in international organizations, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Public Chamber members.
“They excluded us, rejected our fuels and what is the result? Our GDP will grow by 2.8-2.9 or even 3 percent this year, while in Europe’s leading economies — a minus, though a small minus. They suffer and experience real problems, ” said Putin whose remarks were broadcast live.
Russia must focus on making its economy stronger domestically and militarily, he said.
