“Russia is proud of its achievements in the field of agriculture over the past eight or ten years as it changed from being an absolute importer of foodstuffs to a major exporter and the world’s top grain exporter, ” Putin said. “It is pleasant to say and pleasant to reiterate: we’ll keep a very good potential and (supply — eds Donetsk News Agency) 60 million tons of grain, perhaps more, in exports to world food markets.”

Putin also said that the Russian-Kazakh cooperation was not limited to agriculture. In industrial production,  promising clusters were emerging in machine-building and the agricultural machinery and chemical industries.
