Donetsk, Nov 21 — DAN. The Central Republican Bank of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the State Bank of the Lugansk People’s Republic will be registered in Russia as limited liability companies and then handed over to Promsvyazbank, said President Vladimir Putin’s decree No 841.
The document says that the authorities of the Donbass Republics and Russia’s Central Bank will conclude an agreement within a month in accordance with the constitutional laws on the accession of the DPR and LPR to Russia.
Under Russian laws, the DPR Central Republican Dank and the LPR State Bank will be registered as limited liability companies. The authorities of the Republics, within a month from the registration date, have to sell 100 percent of shares in the authorized capitals of these lending institutions to Russia’s Promsvyazbank for a symbolic prices of one ruble.
The decree, signed and published on Monday has come into force.*jk
