Donetsk, Aug 23 — DAN. A delegation of Donetsk People’s Republic officials has arrived in the Republic of Belarus to familiarize themselves with production processes and products, DPR government chairman Yevgeny Solntsev said on Wednesday.
DPR officials plan to visit Belarussian companies and discuss cooperation prospects. They have already travelled to the First Industrial Company which produces universal containers, grain drying and cleaning equipment and storage bins, Solntsev said.
“We have to build seven grain elevators in the next few years. Silos will be purchased here. We suggested several locations in the DPR for launching silo production, ” the DPR prime minister said.
DPR is interested in Belarussian experience in quick production conversion, he added.
Last week, DPR Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Artyom Kramarenko announced plans to build grain elevators in the Republic. These plans were discussed at a meeting with Russian Deputy Agriculture Minister Andrey Razin on Monday.
The DPR and Belarussian agriculture ministers met in the beginning of this summer to discuss cooperation prospects.*jk
