Donetsk, Dec 12 — DAN. The Leningrad region which sponsors the town of Yenakiyevo in the Donetsk People’s Republic is preparing to launch the production of polyethylene pipes and precast concrete in the DPR, Leningrad region governor Alexander Drozdenko said at a meeting with DPR leader Denis Pushilin.

“We’re beginning more serious road construction works next year, ” Drozdenko said on a video posted on Pushilin’s official Telegram channel. “We’ll also start repairs on schools and kindergartens and reface their facades.”

The Leningrad region has already launched flagstone production next to the town. It also plans to produce polyethylene pipes and put up a modern precast concrete plant. New water treatment modules are being commissioned in the Karlo-Marksovo settlement outside Yenakiyevo; they are currently the most innovative facilities in Donbass today, he said.

The DPR leader thanked Drozdenko for assistance in rebuilding Yenakiyevo’s civil infrastructure. The two officials signed an agreement on developing regional relations. “The agreement will strengthen our partnership for the good of Donbass and all Russia, ” Pushilin said.*jk
