Uglegorsk, Oct 5 - DAN. The Donbassgaz state-owned group has launched the construction of a pipeline to Debaltsevo to link the town to the gas supply network.
The project was started at the gas distribution plant in the outskirts of Uglegorsk. Trenches are being dug out for pipe laying. The total length of the pipeline is 16.7 kilometers.
Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin is expected to arrive at the scene on Tuesday to attend the project launch.
Debaltsevo, a town in the north of the Donetsk People’s Republic, was founded in 1878. It was never part of the gas supply network. It accommodates the largest railway junction in the region.*jk
