Donetsk, Oct 26 – DAN. Tony Frisch, a coordinator at the humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group, together with the DPR ombudswoman paid an inspection visit to the premises where Ukrainian captives live.
"Coordinator Tony Frisch of the OSCE together with ombudswoman Daria Morozova visited a penitentiary where Ukrainian POWs are kept and checked on their living conditions," ombudswoman press service said.
DPR envoys to Minsk negotiations have been repeatedly urging to facilitate access to Ukrainian prisons for international organizations. Kiev reps denied the reports highlighting the cases of illegal detentions in Ukraine. Besides, Kiev could have changed prisons addresses to conceal facts of torturing prisoners.
Fiona Frazer, the head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, had no grounds for criticism after the paid visit to DPR on August 6th.
