Donetsk, Jun 3 - DAN. The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation plans to arrange the delivery of donations to Donetsk People’s Republic medical centres, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“Thanks to the Agency’s help, it is planned to deliver cardiographs, pulse oximeters, tonometers and nebulisators to primary healthcare centres in towns and districts as well as to paramedic stations this autumn,” the Ministry said.
Health Minister Alexander Oprischenko has discussed assistance to the Republic with Agency representatives who had visited a number of DPR hospitals to assess their facilities and equipment.
Switzerland’s Agency for Development and Cooperation is a part of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. It is responsible for coordinating Switzerland’s activity in international development and cooperation with Eastern Europe, as well as for humanitarian assistance.*jk
