Donetsk, Jul 24 - DAN. Security issues will top the agenda of the Contact Group’s meeting in Minsk on July 25, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic delegation at the negotiations, DPR parliament speaker Denis Pushilin told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The agenda of the Contact Group’s tomorrow meeting remains focused on security issues such as ceasefire observation, disengagement of forces and hardware in the agreed areas and withdrawal of heavy weapons,” Pushilin said.
Donetsk representatives continue to insist on repairs of the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct outside Yasinovataya, whose breakdown threatens the region’s water supply system. Prisoner exchange and confirmation of the Steinmeier’s formula remain topical issues as well, he added.
Earlier on Tuesday, DPR ombudswoman representing the Republic in the humanitarian subgroup Darya Morozova expressed the hope that Kiev would present its official position on prisoner exchange.
The Contact Group and its working groups are due to meet for the next round of Donbass peace talks in Minsk on July 25.*jk
