Donetsk, May 10 – DAN. All sides in the Donbass conflict must start mine clearance and provide minefields maps, said Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM Alexander Hug.
“Explosive devises, mines should be removed and no new ones should be installed. I repeatedly called on all sides to take action and start mine action seriously… I repeat, mines and unexploded ordnance need to be removed with no exception. Where that is not immediately possible these areas must be clearly marked, and fenced off and both sides need to provide maps where these contaminated areas are clearly visible. Keeping this information secret will kill more people” *ot
