Donetsk, Nov 20 – DAN. DPR does not expect a breakthrough in the Donbass crisis settlement after the Normandy Four summit, said DPR Head Denis Pushilin.
The summit is expected on December 9 in Paris.
"Speaking in personal capacity, we don't expect any breakthrough. I have been in the talks in Minsk for some time and I am aware of how viscous the process is. There are no positions shared by both sides. It just doesn't happen. As for the Normandy Four there are even more opinions, the agenda is challenging, thus we don't expect a breakthrough, neither an overwhelming success nor a momentarily resolution," he said.
He added that the DPR must be ready for any developments, speaking about security situation.
The previous Normandy Four summit took place on October 2016. *ot
