Donetsk, Dec 24 – DAN. DPR delegates discussed cooperation in the fields of culture and education with Syria's Minister of Education Dr. Darem Tabbaa, the DPR movement "Donetsk Republic" said.
“On Thursday, December 23, in Damascus, representatives of the delegation of the Donetsk People's Republic met the Minister of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Darem Tabbaa,” the statement reads.
"The possibility of recognizing the diplomas of the Republic in this Middle Eastern country was discussed."
The parties exchanged proposals on ways to develop further cooperation, in particular, on the interaction of children's and youth organizations of the two states, teaching Arabic to Donetsk students, and Russian to Syrian students.
“It is reasonable to start interaction in the field of education as early as possible, so that our young people are brought up in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect, mutual enrichment of cultures, and preservation of historical heritage is ensured,” the press statement quoted Gennady Lebed, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Head of the DPR, who headed the Donetsk delegation.
On December 22, the DPR delegation arrived in the SAR with a third visit of DPR representatives to Syria this year. An agreement on interaction and cooperation between the "Donetsk Republic" public movement and the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party was signed. *ot
