Donetsk, Dec 1 — DAN. Synergy University has launched its fourth office in the new Russian regions, the Synergy Corporation press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Friday.
“The office in Mariupol is the fourth office in the new territories; previously, the university launched offices in Lugansk, Donetsk and Melitopol, ” the press service said. “It is located at the city’s Ilyichevets Sport Center.”
The university will cooperate with higher education centers and schools of the new regions, provide refresher course for teachers and civil servants, promote Synergia study programs and organize educational, sport and outreach events, it said.
Some 200 students and as many teachers from the new regions are already studying online at University divisions. More than 1,100 state and municipal bodies personnel have taken advanced training courses. Over 1,500 schoolchildren have participated in a weeklong all-Russian career-guidance action.
Synergia University is Russia’s largest private university established in 1995. It has more than 35 faculties and a student body of over 140,000 people from 89 countries who are studying on 500 programs of all education levels.
The university partners with more than 400 large Russian companies; it offers training in business, management, IT, economics, law, linguistics, design, banking and creative industries. A double degree is offered at the university branch in Dubai and on the program “International Trade with China.” *jk
