Donetsk, Sep 7 — DAN. The Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) will create for the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics a single database on Kiev war crimes in Donbass, Deputy Head of the DPR Office at the JCCC Natalia Shutkina said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.

“The JCCC’s main task is to form and administer the single database of the confirmed and documented facts of the aftermath of the Ukrainian state’s armed aggression which have signs of war crimes, in the territory of the Republics, ” Shutkina said. “We expect republican and Russian investigators who help us to use this database.”

The JCCC has also been tasked with revealing, verifying and documenting the facts of Ukraine’s armed aggression against the Republics and its citizens and informing the public and mass media about these facts and their aftermath, she said.

In 2017, the DPR set up its Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination on ceasefire and negotiations. It recorded truce violations in Donbass and participated in the peace talks at the Minsk venue. As the talks stopped, the body was remained in late August 2022 to the DPR Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes.

On Wednesday, the DPR Head dissolved the Special Commission on recording and gathering evidence of Ukrainian government crimes in Donbass which has operated since May 2016.*jk
