Donetsk, Dec 18 — DAN. A cache containing classified documents of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has been found outside Volnovakha, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported on Monday.
“The cache was found by officers of the Federal Security Service Department for the DPR and the Pacific Fleet’s military counterintelligence, ” the report said. “The SBU had planned to evacuate it before the beginning of Russia’s special military operation.”
The documents included data on SBU agents; the information is being verified, the Territorial Defense Headquarters said.
Reports in late November said that the FSB, together with military counterintelligence seized a weapon cache in the Yalta settlement in the DPR’s Mariupol district, which was to have been smuggled to Russian regions.*jk
