Donetsk, Dec 25 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen shelled central Gorlovka overnight to Monday killing a civilian and wounding another, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
“A 35-year-old woman was killed in her home in Pushkinskaya Street where she lived with her two children, ” the JCCC said. She shielded the children with her body; a shell fragment pierced her heart. Another woman was wounded in the same street, the JCCC said.
Three apartment buildings in Pushkinskaya and Gagarina Streets were damaged.
Ukrainian forces fired seven multiple rocket launcher rounds at central Gorlovka at midnight. Later on, Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district came under fire.
On Sunday evening, four civilians were wounded in a Ukrainian attack on Gorlovka’s “Galaktika” shopping mall.*jk
