Donetsk, Dec 26 — DAN. Winners of the first official cybersport championship in the Donetsk People’s Republic will get sport titles and represent the Republic at Russian championship, the regional office of Russia’s eSports Federation said.
Registration deadline is 23:00, January 2. Online playoffs will be held from January 4 to January 13, the finals have been set for January 20, the regional office said.
The prize money is worth 150,000 rubles. The competition will be held in the following categories: CS2, Dota 2, Tekken 7, Starcraft 2, Tetris и DCL; parents’ permission is required at the LAN stage for participants under 18 years of age. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
The Donetsk News Agency earlier reported that the Russian Ministry of Sport had equipped three cybersport centers in the DPR.*jk
