Donetsk, Jan 31 – DAN. Rescuers have successfully evacuated miners from the Zasyadko coalmine which was cut off from electricity by Ukrainian forces shelling, the press service of the Republic’s Emergencies Ministry reported.
“All the miners have been brought to the surface,” the press service said.
On Thursday morning, Kiev forces shelling caused a power outage at the Zasyadko mine in Donetsk’s Kievskiy district trapping 207 workers underground. Power generator units were used in the evacuation efforts.*jk
