Donetsk, May 16 — DAN. A summer camp for volunteers will be set up in Mariupol, who will join urban development works in the city and provide assistance to Donbass residents, the press service of the all-Russia political party “United Russia” reported on Tuesday.
“Young people will improve public places, work in hospitals and public services centers and help pensioners, ” the press service said. “They will make trips to Berdyansk to help people who have been recently evacuated from Zaporozhye.”
“We offer young activists from the Arkhangelsk region to take part in this work, ” the press service quoted chairman of the United Russia’s Young Guard Anton Demidov as saying.
The summer camp will accommodate some 250 volunteers from all over Russia, he said.
Earlier report said that students of the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture together with the Azov State Technical University would take part in rebuilding Mariupol this summer as members of a student construction brigade.*jk
