Donetsk, Jul 12 – DAN. The Vodafone company has provided equipment to stabilize mobile signal in the DPR, the Republican Ministry of Communications said.
“The economic subgroup has reached an agreement during the Minsk talks that a Ukrainian Vodafone company provides equipment to stabilize the operator’s operation in the DPR. Today the equipment has been delivered to Donetsk and will allow partial repairs of communication lines and base stations,” the statement reads.
The Vodafone operation in the DPR is often discussed during the Minsk talks.
Mobile signal became patchy across the DPR in winter 2017 following am emergency break up at the main communication line.
The signal was restored in April 2018. Since then Vodafone’s services remain unreliable. *ot
