Donetsk, Aug 10 — DAN. Specialists have restored the cell phone service in the Donetsk People’s Republic and neighboring regions which collapsed because of damage to communications lines, the DPR’s wireless provider “Phoenix” reported on Thursday.
“Specialized services have completed repairs on fiber optic trunk cables and restored the operation of base stations that service the city of Mariupol, the Mariupol district, the Volnovakha and Volodarskoye districts and the liberated parts of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, ‘Phoenix’ said.
On Thursday morning, massive outages of mobile and internet networks were reported in southern Donbass and Novorossiya.*jk
