Donetsk, May 2 – DAN. The United Donbass Foundation has paid one-time benefits to more than 2,600 needy residents of the region since March 2017, the Foundation chairman Oleg Balykin told Donetsk News Agency.
“As of April 27, the total of 2,616 applicants have been paid a total of 85,728,440 rubles worth of financial aid as part of the implementation of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program,” Balykin said.
The Foundation has reviewed 7,517 applications and approved 3,236 of those worth 109,424,440 rubles.
In 2018, the Foundation's committee has approved 1,737 applications.
The Donetsk People’s Republic launched the United Donbass Foundation on March 9, 2017. It provides cash payments as well as food and medications which can also be contributed by DPR residents.*ot
