Donetsk, Jul 12 - DAN. The United Donbass Foundation has paid more than 103 million rubles worth of financial aid to residents of Ukraine-controlled parts of the Donetsk region since the beginning of this year, the Foundation’s press service reported on Thursday.
“The Commission has approved 2,659 applications for financial aid to the tune of 103,137,200 roubles since the beginning of 2018,” the press service said.
The Foundation Commission plans to review some 500 applications at its next session on Friday, it added.
The United Donbass Foundation, established at Donetsk People’s Republic Head Alexander Zakharchenko’s order under the aegis of the Donbass people reunification programme in March 2017, provides assistance to residents of the DPR and Kiev-controlled areas who have found themselves in a difficult situation.*jk
