Donetsk, Sep 27 - DAN. The United Donbass Foundation has paid more than 155 million rubles worth of benefits to the needy in Donbass since the beginning of this year, the Foundation’s press service reported on Thursday.
“As of September 25, 4,065 applicants had received financial aid totalling 155,373,100 rubles,” the press service said.
The Foundation’s Commission plans to review some 1,500 requests for assistance at the next meeting on September 28.
The Donetsk People’s Republic set up the United Donbass Foundation in March 2017 as part of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme, to help people in a difficult situation, both in the Republic and Kiev-controlled areas.*jk
