Donetsk, Nov 13 – DAN. The Ukrainian security service (SBU) is kidnapping women residing in Donbass not connected to the conflict in the region, said DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.
"The Ukrainian security service has begun to kidnap women residing in Donbass not connected to the conflict in the region. The oppressive method is the same: women are kidnapped and forced to say anything under tortures. The requests of their relatives remain unanswered, until the kidnapped confess to something. Currently about 40 women are detained under false accusations," her statement said on Saturday.
One of the detainees is Daria Mastikasheva, three-time Ukraine's champion in taekwondo, who was tortured to confess to crimes she never committed. Another detained woman is Yuilia Prosolova accused of blowing up an SBU officer's vehicle. Some women currently held by SBU are still breastfeeding.
"This issue will definitely be discussed at the meeting of humanitarian group in Minsk," Morozova said. *ot
