Donetsk, Aug 6 – DAN. A roof collapsed at a coalface of the Volynskoye Mine Directorate of the Torezantratsit state mining company, four miners are missing, the DPR Emergencies Ministry said.
"Today at 2 p.m. a roof collapsed at a coalface of the Volynskoye Mine Directorate of the Torezantratsit state mining company; sixteen miners were underground at the time of the accident, 12 of them reached the surface unassisted."
The accident reportedly took place at the 2nd western coalface of the H7 floor between the second and the eighth benches.
The search and rescue operation is ongoing. Six equipment pieces and 43 personnel are involved. The operative group of the Emergencies management center is at the scene assisted by the mine sinkers. *ot
