Donetsk, Nov 8 — DAN. Authorities will provide electric heaters to tenants of unheated homes in the Donetsk districts that come under Ukrainian artillery attacks, interim Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said during his talk with the Donbassteploenergo heat supply company director general.

“We decided that in critical situations, we’d give electric heaters to people in the districts which experience water supply and delivery problems because of shelling, ” Pushilin said.

He asked Donbassteploenergo director general Alexey Tsyupka when the problem might be resolved. “I believe we’ll start handing out heaters next week, ” Tsyupka replied.

DPR Emergencies Ministry personnel will help distribute the equipment among those who have requested it. “I see that the problem affects precisely the Donetsk districts that come under fire, they need the heaters, ” Tsyupka said.

Authorities also consider moving residents of the houses located on the contact line to temporary accommodation centers as specialists cannot repair heat supply Iines in those areas due to unceasing shelling and threat to life.*jk
