Donetsk, May 23 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin visited the liberated town of Artyomovsk to assess the scope of rebuilding works.
“We’re going to Artyomovsk together with you to see the amount of work for dedicated organizations and civil services, ” Pushilin said in a video made during the trip to the liberated town.
He said that there was no issue with the name of the town, because DPR authorities restored the original names of the liberated settlements which the Kiev regime had “decommunized” over the years of the conflict.
“Civil services will enter the town after mine clearance operations. ‘Construction companies are facing much work, but as in the case of Mariupol, we understand what and how can be rebuilt by Russia, ’ the DPR leader said.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said after his visit to Artyomovsk that the town could be restored.
On May 20, the Wagner private military company announced that it fully controlled the town. The operation lasted 224 days; it began on October 8, 2022.*jk
