Donetsk, Apr 20 - DAN. The restoration of Mariupol water supply is scheduled to begin in a week, the DPR Head Denis Pushilin said.

"Currently, demining efforts are ongoing; everything is impeded by the (lack of) power supply. When we connect Mariupol, the water treatment plant in particular, to the grid, we will be able to pump water from the Starokrymskoye water storage. The perspectives of water supply are even brighter than in Donetsk," he said.

The demining is expected to end in a week, after that the works to restore the water supply are to begin.

Today, Pushilin visited Mariupol accompanied by the secretary of the United Russia General Council Andrey Turchak.
They visited the school No.53, the first one in the city to resume work. *ot
