Donetsk, Jun 29 — DAN. The Public Chamber of the Donetsk People’s Republic will assist the replacement of signs in Ukrainian for Russian ones, PC Chairman Alexander Kofman said on Thursday.

“The Public Chamber will control the process and invites all volunteers to join this work, ” Kofman said. “We’ve seen a sign/plaque in Ukrainian? Report it at the dedicated chat forum; utility companies will quickly replace it.”

He told the Donetsk News Agency that priority would be given to the signs and plaques that belong to municipal property. “Things are more difficult with private signs, but we’ll just urge the owners to replace them on their own.”

The replacement of Ukrainian signposts and road signs was launched in the territories liberated from Ukrainian forces.*jk
