Donetsk, Jan 23 – DAN. The Zasyadko coalmine has increased production by 40 percent in 2018, said DPR Head Denis Pushilin at the celebrations of the mine's 60th anniversary.
"The coalmine staff has every right to be proud, in 2018 they have shown a 40-percent growth of production compared to 2017," Pushilin said.
He also awarded certificates of merit to outstanding staff members.
The Zasyadko coalmine was launched in 1958 and named after a Soviet minister of coal industry of 1949-1955 Alexander Zasyadko. The enterprise is located in the Kievskiy district of Donetsk. In 2017, it was transferred to the DPR property after Kiev imposed an economic blockade on Donbass. Currently there are 3,000 staff members. Last year, the mine produced 730,000 tons of black gold. *ot
