Lugansk, Nov 21 – DAN. LPR Head election winner Leonid Pasechnik has been inaugurated as Head of Lugansk People's Republic on Wednesday, DAN correspondent reports from Lugansk.
The ceremony took place in the Hall of the house of Parliament.
Deputies, government officials and more than 50 foreign delegates were present, including the DPR Head Denis Pushilin.
Pasechnik has made the solemn declaration as he was sworn in for five years, promising to respect Constitution and rights of people.
The LPR held elections of the Head and Parliament on November 11. Leonid Pasechnik performed well across the Republic and won the race by a sweeping majority, gaining 68.3 percent of ballots cast. The Mir Luganschine social movement secured 37 seats in the Parliament, while its rival Lugansk Economic Union won 13 mandates.*ot
